Christina Twomey

Christina Twomey is Professor of History at Monash University. Her most recent book is The Battle Within: POWs in post-war Australia, winner of the NSW Premier’s Prize for Australian History. She is co-author, with Mark Peel, of A History of Australia. Her previous edited collections include Gender and Trauma since 1900 (with Paula Michaels), Detention Camps in Asia: The Conditions of Confinement in Modern Asian History (with Robert Cribb and Sandra Wilson) and, with Ceridwen Spark and Seumas Spark, Australians In Papua New Guinea, 1960-75.
