Russell Gruen

Russell Gruen MBBS PhD FRACS, is the incoming Dean of the ANU College of Health and Medicine at the Australian National University in Canberra. He is a trauma surgeon and health systems researcher, and was previously Professor of Surgery & Public Health at The Alfred Hospital and Monash University, and Director of the National Trauma Research Institute. From 2015-2018 he has been the Foundation Professor of Surgery and Director of the Institute for Health Technologies at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
