Fay Woodhouse

Fay Woodhouse is a historian and biographer who aims to capture and bring alive a sense of the people and the times she writes about. She has published widely and has been commissioned to write histories of businesses, universities and community organisations. Fay is also the Victorian researcher for The Australian Dictionary of Biography and is an Honorary Research Fellow in the School of Historical and Philosophical Studies at the University of Melbourne. Her recent publications include From Vision to Reality: the Kindilan Story 1972–2012 (2013), The Story Behind the Stripe: a 100 Year history of d’Arenberg (2012), Vintage Stories: a 150 Year History of Tahbilk (2010) and Working for Welfare: a History of the Australian Institute of Welfare and Community Workers (2010) and Still Learning: A 50-year history of Monash University Peninsula Campus (2008).
